His journey began with building wood-fired ovens in backyards, then sharing his passion for fire-cooked flavours at private events. The incredible taste and unique experience sparked something bigger. With growing demand for that unmistakable smoky flavour, Mick took his wood-fired creations on the road, launching a mobile catering service that brought his pizzas to events across the region. That passion found a permanent home with the opening of The Cave in Jan Juc. Here, Mick continues to refine the perfect pizza base—light, crispy, and strong enough to carry a generous load of gourmet toppings. Our menu is inspired by fresh, local ingredients and elevated with house-made sauces and dressings.
